Overview
During a 5-month internship at DIMTI SAS in the Clermont-Ferrand area, I developed a mobile application for consulting and remotely presenting real-estate listings. The app served two distinct user bases: real-estate agents used it as a sales pitch and commercial speech support tool, while customers could browse and share property ads directly from their devices.
Android Development
The Android implementation targeted a broad range of devices, covering Gingerbread through Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS), and supported both smartphones and tablets. Adapting the interface to different screen sizes and API levels was a central challenge of the project.
- Developed the full Android application from scratch in Java
- Ensured compatibility across Gingerbread (2.3) to ICS (4.0) API levels
- Designed responsive layouts for both phone and tablet form factors
- Implemented listing browsing, detail views, and sharing features
iOS Port
An iOS version of the application was started during the internship to extend the reach of the platform to Apple devices, though the port was not completed within the internship period.
